HERMES – ABERDEEN FUTSAL ACADEMY PARTNERSHIP

We are delighted to announce an exciting new partnership between Hermes Bridge of Don Youth Football Club and Strikers Aberdeen to deliver dedicated weekly futsal training sessions for our non-competitive boys’ and girls’ teams.

Sessions will be led by players and coaches from Aberdeen Futsal Academy, giving our young players the opportunity to develop their skills in a fast-paced, fun and engaging environment.

Futsal is recognised worldwide as a fantastic tool for player development, helping to improve:
⚽ Close control and technical ability
⚽ Quick decision making under pressure
⚽ First touch and passing accuracy
⚽ Creativity and confidence on the ball
⚽ Speed of play and movement

With more touches of the ball and constant involvement, futsal provides the perfect platform for young players to build strong football foundations while enjoying the game.

Hermes U12’s vs Hermes 2016 boys – 12/05/2026

The Hermes boys were kind enough to host the girls for a bounce game at UWF. A very tough match for the girls but they will have learnt so much, a brilliant defensive workout and great to see the girls remain positive and committed to the task at hand.

The girls always want to win but for development the result isn’t the most important factor, the girls are winners, have the right mentality and continue to develop technically, tactically and mentally, proud of each one of them.

Special thanks to our guest player who integrated very well with the girls.
