Hermes U12’s vs Hermes 2016 boys – 12/05/2026

The Hermes boys were kind enough to host the girls for a bounce game at UWF. A very tough match for the girls but they will have learnt so much, a brilliant defensive workout and great to see the girls remain positive and committed to the task at hand.

The girls always want to win but for development the result isn’t the most important factor, the girls are winners, have the right mentality and continue to develop technically, tactically and mentally, proud of each one of them.

Special thanks to our guest player who integrated very well with the girls.

U10 girls friendlies – 7s

The girls played two friendlies against 7s team

  • Formartine Stripes (A League)
  • Porthlethen {B league)

Lack of match photos but was great to see them work on playing the ball out of the back, playing football the right way and developing as individuals and as a team.

U12 girls friendlies – 9s

The girls played three friendlies against 9s B league team

  • Aberdeen Ladies Blacks
  • Kemnay
  • Formartine Whites

The games were very tough but have been great experience for the girls.

Lack of match photos but was great to see them work on playing the ball out of the back and I was very impressed by the girls winning their 1v1s.

Aimee Black 1-1

Some of the girls are attending focused sessions with Aimee black from Aberdeen F.C. These small group sessions with the girls aim to help with their personal development, these sessions focus on technical skills development. The girls are loving the experience

Aberdeen AFCCT Football Camp

Well done to all the girls that attended the AFCCT football camp. Upon arrival the girls were split into groups, I could see some of the girls were initially dissapointed about being seperated but that didn’t quell their passion.

Group 2: Georgia, GG, Heidi, Liv, Molly

Group 3: IslaH, Lillie, Sofia

The girls all performed brilliantly and the support from parents was admirable, many arriving 30 minutes early to watch the girls behind the glass portals. Loads of fun, assists, goals, passes, matches and technical skills gained, Kruyff turns, chip and dip, step overs etc.

Georgia excelled throughout and was voted POTW for the girls section.

Special mention to Freddie (Molly brother) who won POTW for his group
