On Tuesday night Hermes Blacks hosted Formartine Whites, our first opponent from A league. Going into this game we knew this was set to be a tough challenge and were proven right. Formartine were a tough opponent with talented players and defended doggedly, the match ended in a stalemate. The girls were outstanding though, wave after wave of attack, but we came up against a keeper on her A game who made save after save despite the attacking onslaught.
