On Tuesday night Hermes Blacks hosted Formartine Whites, our first opponent from A league. Going into this game we knew this was set to be a tough challenge and were proven right. Formartine were a tough opponent with talented players and defended doggedly, the match ended in a stalemate. The girls were outstanding though, wave after wave of attack, but we came up against a keeper on her A game who made save after save despite the attacking onslaught. Unfortunately no match photo but thanks to Formartine for the game and greatly appreciate the support of our sponsors.

Sunny day in Stoney but the girls shone brightest. Clean sheets again, the girls rose to the occasion against a strong keeper and committed defence but continued their run of excellence and were unstoppable in front of goal.

The Girls were incredible today, free flowing football and some excellent goals.

I loved the football matches today but the thing that made me happiest was seeing how much the girls have been practicing in their own time to improve their ball mastery, its obvious that they have, hard work pays off.

This was our toughest challenge yet, Thistle were a worthy opponent and battled hard in rough conditions, 4 girls got braces and Isla, Sofia and Jessica managed to keep their sheets clean. Wonderful performance, tough conditions vs tough opponent ⚽🙌🖤💙

Sunshine after the rainbow after the rain. The girls were incredible today in what was wet and wild conditions so at Cormack Park. The girls were absolutely phenomenal on the pitch today! Georgia was on fire up front, with Rosie and Ruby showing incredible skill and determination to keep the pressure on. Olly and Lillie added flair and energy, making every attack count. And while the goals were flying in, it was Isla, Sofia, and Jessica who quietly anchored the team with rock-solid defending—calm, composed, and totally unshakeable. Their teamwork and spirit were something special to watch Well done girls an unbelievable performance

Coach Dave said : Excellent debuts for our 5v5 U10 Blacks for Aleigha, Isla and Paige.

The experienced heads of Heidi, Liv and Naomi welcomed the new players on some of their first ever run out at Cormack Park. We had no keeper but this never stopped the girls from dominating the ball and playing great football. Debut goals for Aleigha and Isla and all the girls got on the scoresheet today. Did me proud with exceptional football by the youngstars. Im a very happy man this afternoon, well done all the girls.

Hermes v Westdyke

Wow what a performance from the girls, you’d never believe this was their first league match. The Westdyke keeper made about 20 wonderful saves and had a shout for MOTM herself.

The Hermes girls were inspired and relentless wave after wave of attacking force. 5 star performance from Rosie, Georgia her usual trix, Ruby shone bright, goal of the season contender for Sofia.

Olly ran the show and demonstrated excellent control and distribution, Naomi worked tirelessly and had some excellent touches. The great wall of Isla and Sofia were resolute throughout and our keepers Jessica and Sammy were incredible.

Also big shout out to Heidi and Liv who showed their support from the touchline and will be back in action next weekend, absolute superstars.
